Festival 2026: Prepare your survival kit
Summer 2026 promises a packed festival season. Glastonbury, Rock en Seine, Lollapalooza Paris, Hellfest, Dour... Whether you're a seasoned festival-goer or a first-timer, here's the complete checklist to survive (and fully enjoy!) several days in the sun.
Heat protection: Absolute priority
Rechargeable facial mist spray
The accessory that makes all the difference at a festival. Between compact crowds and scorching sun, the perceived temperature can exceed 40°C. A spritz of mist every 30 minutes on your face and neck: instantly 3 to 5°C of coolness. Choose a rechargeable USB model with an integrated power bank. Our USB Mist Sprayer holds 200ml for hours of use — code ETE2026 for -15%.
Portable fan
For indoor concerts or windless evenings, a mini clip-on fan to attach to your cap or hold in your hand is a game-changer. Minimum 8 hours of battery life recommended.
Sunscreen
SPF50+ (spray or stick) to reapply every 2 hours. At festivals, people often forget to protect themselves — set an alarm.
Night and rain gear
Headlamp
Essential for navigating the campsite at night without waking everyone up. Opt for a model with a red light mode (preserves night vision) and at least 6 hours of battery life.
Rain poncho
A festival without a downpour in France... it doesn't exist. A lightweight poncho (50g) fits in a pouch and saves you from disaster when a storm hits in the middle of a concert.
Quality tent
Don't skimp on the tent. A waterproof tent with a double flysheet is mandatory. Minimum 2000mm hydrostatic head (HH). A good camping tent can withstand a night of rain without soaking your sleeping bag.
Technology and charging
Power bank
Your smartphone is your ticket, your payment method, your map, and your emergency contact. A 20,000 mAh power bank charges a smartphone 5-6 times. Essential for 3-4 days of festival.
Earplugs with filters
Not to block out music, but to protect it. Musical earplugs (15-30dB of uniform attenuation) protect your ears over 3 days without distorting the sound.
Comfort and hygiene
Insulating sleeping pad, lightweight +15°C sleeping bag, microfibre towel, hand sanitizer, and spare underwear for each day. The golden rule: if it fits in a 40L backpack, you have just what you need.
